FEDERICA ANGELI

“Journalism” Award

In a time when silence often seems the safest refuge, Federica Angeli chose to step into the open and fight. Truth as her goal. The pen as her sword. Ethics as her shield. She walked through the shadows of Ostia with a straight back and clear eyes, repaying the country with the light of justice. Breaking the chains of silence with the firmness of words. Revealing the faces of dark power. Restoring dignity to journalism and value to conscience. Journalist, mother, citizen: every step of her journey tells of the resolute strength of someone who does not back down in the face of threats. Someone who did not yield, even when her tenacity cost her the freedom of everyday life. A life lived under protection. But her spirit remained free, proud, and invincible. She writes every day with the ink of courage, defending the community's right to know, to understand, and to believe in justice. It is the testimony that the truth cannot be silenced, that fear can be overcome, and that even a single woman can change the pulse of an entire city.
