ALESSANDRA CAMPEDELLI

“Woman and sports” Award

Some people cross borders in pursuit of a medal, and others cross them to restore freedom. Alessandra Campedelli belongs to this second, rare type of women: those who train dreams, not just teams. Coach, educator, pioneer, she has turned her life into a journey of listening, dedication, and discovery. Leading the national deaf women's volleyball team. And coaching in countries where being a woman and an athlete is a revolutionary act. She has shown that talent has no gender and that respect comes from competence and passion. Her story is an example of tenacity, sensitivity, and empathy. Her work is a bridge between worlds and cultures that seldom meet. Her career is a lesson in courage, humility, and trust in others. In the name of a social commitment that sees sport as a tool for dialogue and inclusion. A universal language of humanity and awareness.

A free space where diversity does not create divisions. Where volleyball courts are places of sharing and empowerment. And the greatest victory is the dignity of every person.
